Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Program
What Is a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)?
A Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) is an essential member of the healthcare team who provides hands-on care and support to patients in hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and private homes. CNAs assist with daily activities, monitor patient comfort, and work closely with nurses and medical staff. Becoming a CNA is a rewarding first step toward a career in healthcare.
Our CNA Courses
The CNA LTC/HHA program at Health & Safety Education Training Center provides the core skills needed to deliver safe, compassionate care in home and facility settings. Our training program is designed to prepare students with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to succeed in today’s healthcare environment. This 91-hour program includes classroom instruction, hands-on skills labs, and supervised clinical training. Students learn basic nursing care, vital signs, infection control, communication, resident rights, and home health support.
Upon completion, students are eligible to take the state certification exam and begin a career as a CNA or provide in-home care as an HHA.
